York vs. Diesel Kiki air conditioning 200 1983

Anyone out there have performance experience after r134a conversion of either a York or Diesel Kiki air conditioning compressor? My '83's original a/c is a York, but I also have an '85 Diesel Kiki. In a previous thread (and before I pulled the parts), Porkface (great guy btw)had mentioned a Sanden set-up would be a better choice, and I assumed that was what the '85 had. I will be replacing other parts like the drier, hoses, evaporator, etc., so my main concern is performance and longevity. Beyond cleaning the system and adding an e-fan (also planned), what other suggestions for either compressor is there? Also, I have read there are specific PAG oil grades for different compressors, where may I find this info?
