Advice sought re: door issues: (1)droopy handle (2)hard to open door- need to push handle in to open door 444-544

Hello Gentlemen,
I am having so much fun doing small fixes on my 59 Duett. And, it's thanks to you guys for sharing your expertise & experience with me - thank you very much! Well, it's on to...the doors. I removed the door panels to get a better look/see.
I have 2 problems with my doors:
(1) One of my door handles droops down - any ideas on how I can get it to stay up?
(2) One of my doors is hard to open. There is a lot of "play" (in & out) in the handle & I need to make sure to push it in when pushing the handle down to make the door open. If I don't push the door handle in while pushing down on it the door will not open. Any ideas?
As always, I anxiously await your advise & counsel.
