Hopefully someone can help me out...

Can the following:

Ebay item # 320317981415

be retro-fitted to an early (81-85) 240? I just want to be sure it will work before I bid on it... Very similar to an armrest out of the 7-9 series cars, but I want it for my 240, and the underlying supports are hard to find...
