Check Engine Light, Code 2-1-2 , fairly new o2 sensor 200 1993

I replaced my o2 sensor with a new bosch sensor when my check engine light came on last fall.a year later it came back on and I get the same code 2-1-2.I cleaned the wire terminals and reset the computer(disconnected the battery for 15 minutes)but the C.E. light is back on.I have the reliable 951 ECU.Any ideas as to why it is triggering the C.E.L. ? the car runs fine and has 303k.
