I've done the magnet in the pump thing and it does not appear to appreciably affect the difficult steering in colder weather (and it's not quite cold). Does anyone have a preference of a replacement rack brand?
In this weather, it is probable that I will wait for spring to do the work. One shop quoted me $1,000 to do this work. That is not happening...
