Dewfpo & JMS90 Hard steering 900

Have you been able to determine the cause of the hard steering. My car is getting worse with this cold weather. My problem is simlar to what JMS90 describe on this post:

Weeks back the steering was very difficult to turn right but easy turning left. I thought it was the steering rack, ordered a rebuilt from FCP and had mechanic install it. When I got the car back it was worse than ever.
-A general stiffness
-Does not want to recenter after turning

I have flush the power steering pump and will reflush again with synthetic ATF.

Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated.
