All my brake lines hard and soft are new all new, cylinders are new, calipers overhauled, including brake master cylinder. I decided to go with silicone brake fluid, I read somewhere that this fluid can cause the brake pressure switch to fail rapidly. I have already converted to a mechanical switch off the pedal but left the pressure switch for originallity and it works and is connected to wires.
Should I remove and cap this switch port? How fast does it deteriorate?
If I cap it what is suggested in its place? What if i drill out the switch and weld a cap on it and put it back in? (not liking that)
thanks
