240 ECU swap 200 1989

Got a question that I hope one of my fellow bricksters might be able to answer. I've heard a rumor that swapping in an ecu from a 940 to a 240 will add some much needed HP. Can anyone veryify this? Also if this swap is possible can you give me the specifics on it? I see the 940 uses either a regina or bosch ecu. My car is a 1989 240GL. Thanks.
