are the european 900 versions are exactly the same as north american models? 900 1995

I now here in the states we got strict emission regulations so the manufacturer has to put catylytic converters and more.The question im asking is does the european ones have cat converters 02 sensors flame traps and egr systems and also the ecu?thanks im just curious.
