Temp Low, Idle High 200 1985

So I have a pair of issues that I think MIGHT be related, but I'm not sure.

Right now, my car is idling at about 1200RPM after warm up. It idles much lower until it warms up, starting at about 600RPM. The idle screw is all the way in.

Secondly, my temp gauge shows that it takes about 15 minutes for the car to get up to a couple of cm below 9 o'clock on the gauge, and it hangs out here throughout my 1 hour city commute.

Now I was reading on here that swapping the two senders on the intake side of the B230 block can cause high idle issues. Currently, I've got a brown wire running to the block sender, and a yellow wire running to the head sender. Do I have these switched? Are these both temp senders or are the something entirely different?

Thanks in advance.
-Phil
