I have a 1976 265 DL. Great body, but my gas tank leaks (which is not a huge problem because the PRV 27F gets such poor gas mileage that the gas does not stay in the tank long enough to leak out).
Would this engine with CIS be a good candidate for an alternative fuel conversion or should I just assume that it had so many problems on petroleum that it is bound to be even worse with some thing else. From what I read about it, I should be pretty happy it runs even as well as it does.
