injector electrical plug order check 900 1996

Hi,

Have just replaced inlet manifold gasket on MY 940s 2.3 turbo. I individualy numbered the electrical plugs that conect on to the top of each injector before disconecting them. But, unfortunatly used a waterbased pen(and lost the numbers ). I an sure I have the plugs for cylinders 1 and 4 correct but 2 and 3 are a mystery. I have reversed them and canot detect and performance of note change in engine operation.

Does anyone have any simple way of checking and rectifying this error.
