Hi all...
Yesterday afternoon I walked out to the driveway to the smell of gasoline, and to my dismay there was a large damp area under the old car. I examined further to find a fairly constant drip coming from under the car toward the back of the passenger side back seat floor pan. The culprit: the bit of rubber hose that connects two segments of the metal fuel line was really soft and, well, leaking.
What diameter rubber fuel hose do I need to get that will connect the two metal segments of the fuel line?
Failing having anything to immediately patch the failed rubber with, my temporary solution has been to jack the front end up to lower the pressure on the hose, and put a pan under it to catch any dripping that does escape. The dripping has stopped, but I'd like to put the proper fix in asap. :)
Thanks!
