240 Mystery leak - coolant 200 1993

Hi all-

Hope someone has experienced/solved this issue: A sporadic, mysterious coolant leak from the engine. To rule out the obvious: No hoses cracked, loose, etc. No obvious dribbled from the head gasket, radiator, reservoir, etc. Also no leaks from hose into heater core, or out. Green coolant can, after extended driving, be seen running down off of the bell housing but from where ???? who knows. Can coolant somehow get past the intake manifold gasket (doesn't seem right. . . ) Thanks for any thoughts!
