94 940 Battery Issue 900

My 94 940 with approx. 112K on it sits for weeks at a time without being started or driven. It's been fairly cold here in Philly for the last month or so but not killer freezing temps. The car is not garaged. It is a one year old battery though and the battery I think is good. I have some concerns about the alternator charging it thoroughly. Where do I look first? Altenator? Voltage regulator? New battery?
