water on left rear florr board 700 1989

Have trouble with my left rear passenger floor board filling with water. Doesn't come from sun roof area. Thought someone from IPD said it may have something to do with a pluged line from the heater. Said the drain for the plug line goes to the left rear floor board area. Does anyone know of this problem and how to fix?
