'93 245 stall at 60 mph 200

Just got call that niece's 245 stalled at highway speed. Car has a history if funny stalls when starting out or on turns, but this is first I've heard of high speed stall. Also hasn't happened I'm a while. Good Volvo mechanic have looked for problem in past without success (no charge). My first thought is CPS. Any ideas?
