740 door mirror question 700 1989

I smashed my 740's left-side power mirror trying to fit into a too tight parking spot (I was hungry and therefore in a rush to get some food).

I have the opportunity to buy a used replacement one coming from a 1992 940 that is both powered and heated. Will the entire mirror assembly fit properly into my car? My existing mirror is unheated. Is there a major difference in the harness fit?
