Hello fellow bricksters and happy new year!
This is my first question of the year ;-)

I unfortunately had an accident with my beloved 1989 240 DL on boxing day with the results you can see in the pic... No harm done to the humans in the car but I am awaiting the bodyshops to reopen after the holiday season to know the repair bill... anyhow...

Here is my question, last summer I saw on e-bay a set of bull-bars ( you know like on SUV's or trucks) especially made for the 240! It ended up selling for a very high price so I could not purchase it. But I was wondering has anybody ever heard of those before? The auction was from Italy could that be a local market accessory or where they ever sold in North America as well?
If anybody knows where to find them or where I could have a set made for a reasonable price I would be interested to know... they might not be pretty but it would be a nice protection from the assaults of modern ender benders
