Identifing Dana 30 Differential 1800 1969

I have a 69 1800. I'm collecting parts for a complete rebuild ring, pinion spider gears, etc. I currently have Dana 30 ratio 4:30 I'd like to convert to a 4:10. My supplier is asking me for a Build of Material # located on the axel tube in order to determine if it's a Long or Short Pinion. I can't find the number and checking the archives some members report that Volvo supplied the axel tubes. I'm thinking that, because of this, there is no number to be found. Dana suppled the gears and housing but Volvo used it's own tubes (ie no number). My ring gear has the following #'s Dana 33462, T107S (the S is hand engraved), M8L77, and the ratio 43-10. Can anyone tell me if the 69 1800 has a Short or Long Pinion, Does the Build of Material # appear on the axel, Can I put 4:10 gearing in this case? What do the #'s on the ring gear stand for. Thanks rich B.
