ABS light flashing, stays on sometimes till I restart. 200

I've noticed my ABS light flashing when driving on dry clean pavement lately. Sometimes it flickers on and off and sometimes it stays on. Last time it stayed on I put the clutch to the floor shut it off and restarted it without stopping and the light went out.

It has also at times shot a pulse or two through the brake pedal while I was stopping normally on dry road which made me a little uneasy since it was totally uncalled for.

I've noticed the flashes of the light seem to coincide with bumps I hit in the road. Could the problem be a loose sensor at one of the wheels?
