1984 245 with damaged B23FT engine, m46 with OD transmission 200

Hey everyone...

I chased a lady down a year or so ago, and asked her to sell me her 245...She took my number, and called me recently asking if I was still interested. Of course I was, so now I am the owner of a new 1984 245 with the B23ft engine, with manual transmission. Unfortunately, the reason she called me was because the engine has seized up...something major is broken deep down in the block.

I am pulling the B23FT out, and will have it rebuilt by a local auto machinist (if possible).

I have a functioning 1986 B230F NA engine, complete with a "new" wiring harness from Dave Barton, and a 554 ECU brain, already coupled to another m46 transmission with OD...

Would I have problems placing the B230F NA into the wagon while the original B23FT is being rebuilt?

Would the driveshaft be an issue?

I really want to drive this wagon, which is why I am eager to get something that runs under her hood.

If anyone can comment, I sure will appreciate it!
