Nearly died in transit, now won't start 200 1983

I suspect the timing belt slipped a notch, but wondering if there's something else I should check before I open it up. It would restart while still warm, but now won't start at all. When it would start, it sounded/felt like it wanted to backfire and ran very roughly.

Before this happened, it was running very smoothly. I replaced the timing belt and tensioner about 18 months ago, and I'm *almost* certain that I reset the tension sometime later. Dang, I really do need to keep better records ...

Any suggestions for other things to check?

Thanks!
