V90 struts by Monroe S90-V90

A box of goodies came today from FCP Groton. By far the most space in the box was occupied by 2 OEM front struts, in separate boxes marked Volvo, etc. Upon inspection of the content, the two struts turned out to have labels "Volvo" and "Monroe", "made in Spain" on them. All I could think, "globalization in action"...

Any comments on Monroe struts being OE and their quality? I haven't checked who the manufacturer of my old struts was but I was thinking Boge or something along those lines. Which struts do you have on your car?
