The turbo is off of my car, due to head work. It is a Mitsubishi. To check oil flow through it, I poured some 10W-30 into the oil inlet hole on top of the turbo bearing housing. After I filled up the inlet hole, it seemed to take about 10 to 15 minutes to drip, slowly, out of the return hole on the bottom of the unit.
Is this normal, or do I have a problem in the oil passages in there?
BTW, it seems to spin fine, pretty free, and with absolutely no axial or radial play.
