960 Fuel System Fault 900 1996

Finally got my ELM327 based diagnostic dongle.
I previously posted here about what I suspect is a fuel pump issue.
The car has progressively gotten worse to the point that it will start and run for a minute or two and then sputters and stalls. It appears to be fuel starvation.
Other than misfires in the cyclinders which I expect to see w/fuel starvation - The "Closed Loop fuel system" reports an "O2 Sensor fault" but no more detail.
The only code that keeps triggering the check engine light is the "Air Injection Pump" - That one comes back after I clear it in a day or so and was happening weeks before the fuel starvation issue appeared.
Another note: I was happily surprised to see the access panel in the trunk that allows pump removal w/o pulling the tank.
I've got some more questions and assumptions :)

Looks like it's the pump or regulator, I'm leaning twords the pump...Anyway to prove it without a pressure gauge?
Am I going to have to get the special tool to get the pump out of the tank or is there a way around it?
I'm still getting familiar with the ELM327 tool on my laptop. Anything Volvo Specific I need to know?

Thanks!
