not able to open my driver's side door S90-V90

Hello all,

I'm not able to open my driver's side door from the outside. I've tried to unlock it manually using the key and automatically using the switch inside (with the help of my wife flipping the switch). I feels the same as when the door is locked (as opposed to the resistance you feel when it is unlocked).
Has anyone had this problem. Any assistance or resolution would be greatly appreciated.
