Engine Died, Houston....we have a fuel problem 200

Please help..

I was parked and getting ready to turn off the car when it died very abrubtly. I tried to restart it and got nothing. I checked the spark and its fine. When I check the plugs after a while, they were dry after trying to start it for a while. I changed the fuel relay...nothing. I changed the main fuel pump...nothing. When I disconnect the connection from the fuel pump to the filter, no gas is being pumped by the fuel pump when the car cranks.

I have checked the fuses, they are all fine....what is this???

BTW - I have an 1989 240 Dl 5sp.
