Coiled Springs did not take my head off -- thank you 200

Thanks to all the BB friends who helped me take off my coiled springs - no not those, the ones on the front end of the car. Walked through the front and rear business in 8 degree weather with the help of a propane heater, Bentley and several helpful posts. Only problem is yanking that front strut out the tower once it's loose without stressing or breaking the brake lines, then hanging it outside the car. Never found a method that really worked. The plastic tie method did not work. Snapped. Tried 12 gauge electrical house wiring, just one of the wires taken out of the housing, that didn't work. Too cumbersome. Finally settled on a rope and just wrestled that out the car, hugging that coiled spring like it was money. I used to be scared of the thing. Now I want to see it again. Is this the start of something big?
Car rides great.

Thanks again.

Cuddy
