I have a chance to buy a very nice 122s with a blown BW35 transmission.
I have a good AW71 sitting in my garage, the swap has been mentioned in a couple of posts, but no actual information on how to do it.
Is there a link or thread that outlines the process?
Is it more difficult than the M41 swap?
What sort of adapter is needed?
Would I use the B18/20 bell-housing or have the B230 housing modified to straighten up the transmission?
Any information or advice would be appreciated.
