price expected to pay for used 5spd tranny

Can anyone give me a price check on the unfortunately super-rare 5spd found on the later 240s? Let's say it has around 200K miles on it and is rumored to be functional. I have no idea how much this is 'worth' as a commodity but I would personally not pay more than about $200 for such an item, and frankly I'd rather pay about half or less than that. They're rare but do many people actually take them and use them? Does my price range seem rational or should I expect a parts-car-owner or wrecking yard to ask for 250-400?

And was this particular tranny found on the 740 as well?

Also I'm in Arizona (& sometimes California) if that makes a difference.

A very subjective question, yes, but just let me know if you've got a hunch. Thanks!!
