Hi,
I'm planning to change control arm bushings on my 1998 V90 (124k miles).
There are two sizes of bushings, and the Volvo 900 manual mentions 6
special tools needed for the job, two counterholds and 4 punches (to remove/replace). The tools are kind of pricey (about $200 for the
bunch), and I'm not sure about availability. Has anybody had success
with using cheaper alternatives?
I enjoy doing things on the car myself, but for this one I'm not sure
if the expense and the time would be justified.
Thanks,
Vlad
