Light blue smoke, only when cold. 120-130 1967

When I start my car, the smoke is light light blue. But, when it warms up, the smoke goes away completely.
I did a compression test, I posted it before. It showed I had bad piston rings. But wouldn't that make the car blow smoke constantly?
It's been like this for a few months, but I haven't driven it much at all.
How much damage do you think is done to my engine?
I'm a bit worried now!
