83 Wagon w/ NO COOLING?! 200 1983

Anew thread is deffiantly the best idea here. Thank you for your advisment...

-To sharpen the point of where im at in repairs; first an update till now, and where Im struggeling to get. (Just to clarify any questions from the other post carring over to this one. Fresh is the best!)

B23F 1983 245 DL Wagon (non-turbo)
-Bought the car about a month ago. Its idle was kinda jagged but
nowhere near troublesome. Overall it ran fine untill...
-It was cold, 3 degrees F. Went to start, ran for about 2 seconds then died
very abruptly.
-Managed to pinpoint a T-belt walkoff. I checked its path, all pullys and
bearings were right and true.
-Took the down time to move up. Batt. was replaced with brand new, as well
the cap & rotor, spark cables, oil & oil filter. Followed by a hose check.
-After this general upkeep Through much pain, moved the belt on several
times, tooth by tooth to assure(only by feel as I have no light) the
feel and power it had before, and what I would assume as adiquit.
-Finally the key day came. Went to start, Whoooomp! A vigorus start and
consistant idle once again! Lots of power when i drop up and down our short
street (one block) in both forward and reverse. Ok, so I park it to go over
things and make sure 'sure' is actually SURE... It wasn't.
-Open the hood back up to reviel a whistling radiator overflow tank, and
no coolant at all?!? I didnt look after the t-belt slipped up to this point
but after buying a month ago I remeber checking it and it was properly
leveled.
-Upon letting things cool, and confirming woes with a restart; the engine
heated up extreamly quick again, and followed by the same wistlin' tank.
Inlet and outlet hoses from the radiator are quite hot to the touch in
only 8-10 min. This time the gauge ondash notified me of the over heating.
Wow...
-Ive chosen to pospone any more starts or driving till this is sorted out.
So I went to buy what I felt was needed for the next step, (this is where
ya'll chime in!):
-Small 8oz con. of Radiator 'Leak Stop'
-Large Mobile green antifreeze jug
-Have plenty of the DI water
-After about 3 hours of nothing but reading on these forums about radiators,
flushing, refilling, repairing, replacing, ect. I decided to get the strait
truth on my situation model and make to be sure. I just dont want to take
any risks not getting this right.
-So the question is, how do I simply go about draining, fushing out residue,
then refilling (Stop leak, 50/50[coolant, water] in this order)?
-Also, based on my description of up to this point; is there any insight
on issues possibly missed, improperly acomplished, or (god please) is this
something simple enough to reach a conclusion soon?

Thanks forever on all the help provided direct and indirect. This is
my new favorite site. I seriously place ample read time every day.
One might say its my current medication. :)

Be Well!
