Questions on EGR equipped 940's 900 1994

This is a 1994 940.

Are the devices circled in this image EGR valves?

Are all US delivery NA 940’s setup this way or do some 93, 94, and 95 lack this setup?

If only some are equipped this way are they the minority and do they have an ECU specifically designed for the EGR system.

Are all NA 940's of this era Rex/Regina?
