I have a rattle in my 1997 S90. It has been a Florida car all of its life and this year experienced it's first rally cold winter in Kansas. I noticed this rattle wehn it bacame cold. When it was really cold it wold have a metallic crunch squeak when going over lager bumps. I pulled off the front wheels and inspected...all bushings looked ok, and pulling and prodding gave no joy. While I was in there I replacd the brakes and rotors and the struts (because they needed them...also have done the shock in the rear too). The metallic crunch squeak either went away or was reduced to a minimal...rattle still remain (I did not think any of the work above was related). My guess is that I have a ball joint or control arm busing problem...any thought on other ideas?
