Be very delicate with your downpipe 200

Last night I was heading to a local live music venue and my Volvo changed nationalities to German... Volkswagen!

My downpipe cracked and completely severed at the collector.
It even appears like a professionally notched pipe for a rollcage!

Anyway... I've been told in my offroad you can weld this back together with prepp'n... this true? ( i don't have a welder)

Hindsight? Yeah, when you have this item removed to make for better access to other parts do NOT allow it to be shuffled around on the concrete - in fact - just hang the thing up somewhere. I fumbled my y-pipe on my Tahoe 6 years ago and i lost the platinum media in a $300 Catalytic Converter...
