240 k jetronic advice needed 200

Hi All,
Wondering if someone can help out a newbie with a k jet fuel injection question.
I believe it’s stock Volvo 240 k jet & a turbo setup.
I need to get it finished this weekend and also need to order some braided hoses to replace the plastic ones in the pic. Would someone mind having a peek at the pic below and letting me know if this is correct?

The banjo fitting on the ?metering head? connections –

The one with the pipe on was from the fuel tank
The one attached to it without was the return to the tank.

It did run, but an air leak meant it didn’t run well but it seems odd that the inlet is basically attached to the return pipe. Does seem odd when compared to a friends mk1 golf gti which also has k jet (should they be piped the same?)

Does this make sense? If not where’s the inlet or return pipe meant to attach to?

The code on the metering head reads: 0 438120043 in red with 629 stamped underneath it

Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Steve
