Why is there noise when shifting to overdrive?

Hi, there:
I have a volvo 960, with AW30 automatic tranmission. Recently, I found suscipious noise after I came back from a long distance trip. Although everything works fine, I can hear a belch noise when the gear is shifted from 3rd gear to torque converter lock-up. I changed the transmission fluid (without changing the filter) three weeks ago, but the noise is still there. Is this noise normal? What can be the possible reason?
