Why does transmission have a noise when converter lockup? 900 1997

Hi, there:
My car is 1997 Volvo 960, with AW30 automatic tranmission. Recently, I found something suscipious with my transmission. Although everything works fine, after the car is driven for about 10 miles, I can hear a belch noise when the gear is shifted from 3rd gear to torque converter lock-up. I changed the transmission fluid three weeks ago, but the noise is still there. Is this something normal?
