Finally jumped in...with both feet! I picked up that 89 745 GL from Ebay, and just drove it home, 640.2 miles. Happened to think on the toll road, what if I get a flat? Got home, and no spare rim or tire. What are the specs on the rim? Particularly, bolt pattern diameter, etc? Any crossover to US made cars? Guess I'll carry a can of fix-a-flat for now!!!
Incidentally, the car appears to be in good shape. Added 1 quart of oil after picking it up, and topped off the brake fluid after the dash light came on. All accessories seem to work...only picky minor stuff to correct.
