Door Handle - Used Or New ?? 200 1987

'87 240 sedan. Drivers side outside door handle broke. Over $100 from Volvo dealer ! Used on E Bay about $25. Was it a fluke that mine broke or is this a common break part ? If I put on a used one maybe it will break soon ? Any other sources for a quality replacement part other then E Bay or Volvo ? No pick & pulls left in my area. Thanks.
