I went to replace the flame trap and related hoses this evening. Apparently, the person who owned this before me (or their mechanic) had removed the actual trap piece. I went ahead and replaced everything but I am wondering if this has damaged the engine in anyway.

Also, while I'm here, I can't get my trunk to lock. Has anyone had this problem?
