1993 240 wagon

-how hard is it to replace the cig lighter (cell phone, etc.) w/ the wires? It's
loose and frequently turns on and off during cell phone charging. I would assume the battery has to be disconnected as well.

-copper vs. Platinum Bosch plugs - how often change? Have platinum and seems fine but not sure if one is preferred - assume platinum wasn't even an option when the car was made.

Thanks - and then some. Everyone has helped me a lot in recent months w/ my purchase of an (unknown to me) ebay used "beater" - it's getting pro help thanks to all of you!
