flywheel orientation in 1986 760 ? 700

So I am putting the transmission back in the car and I am to the point where I reinstall the flywheel. I did not mark the orientation so I am following the FAQ.
But does orientation of flywheel matter in my car (1986 760 turbo) which I think is LH2.2? I don't think it has a crank sensor. I think the distributor being installed on the camshaft gets the signal from there, The arrow points up at TDC but there is now sensor there.
