Sunroof won't shut 200

I'm fed up with the sunroof on my '85 240. I totally disassembled and cleaned all the parts and replaced the two cast metal brackets holding the crank in place. For some reason the roof will open fine, but won't shut any further than half way unless I screw around with it for a while. Now it's leaking and the upholstery is sagging. Has anyone replaced their sunroof with a pop up aftermarket unit? If so, what can you share about your experience with the install and quality of the product? Currently my step daughter has my Volvo in another state, so I'm also wondering if anyone can tell the dimensions so I'd know what size to get.
