Ok. I have this issue with my 75 164 E. It will not allow the battery to hold a charge. I recently had a bosch alternator put in and a new battery from my local volvo specialist, not but a day after it is dead again(battery that is) Any help would be appreciated! By the way it also has a new voltage regulator.
