What paint to use on bumpers 140-160 1986

I'm getting ready to have my car painted soon and I want to paint my bumpers and air dam. What kind of paint is available to me that I can do it myself, or should I just leave it to the paint shop to do when they do the body of the car? I also want to paint the mirrors.
