It's my '85 244 w/210K that's got me stumped. The idle was uneven so I cleaned the TB and applied a new gasket which didn't change the idle. So I cleaned the IAC for the first time which was very dirty. This evened out the idle but at 1000 rpms. The accordian tube between the AMM and TB doesn't leak and the TB plate and position switch are set correctly. The black thumb-screw for the idle is screwed all the in which should stall the engine I've heard. I could live with the 1000 rpm idle but it bugs me that the fix eludes me.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
Dukester
