Valve Seal Replacement 200

A parked my 1993 240 for 3 months and got a sizable puff of smoke when I first started it. I believe that the valves seals had leaked.

Question : Is it possible to replace the valve seals without removing the head ? I recall hearing using an air hose in the spark plug hole to pressurize the cylinder to hold the vlves closed, then replacing the seals. Has anyone done this ?

Todd
